Entry Requirements: Academic entry requirements: Australian Bachelor degree or equivalent. Alternative entry: Successful completion of the UTAS Graduate Certificate in International Business, Master of International Business, or equivalent.

The Master of International Business offers students the opportunity to acquire the skills to practise as a manager in the global context. The course places emphasis on the determination and assessment of best business practice, informed by the application of appropriate, sound theoretical foundations drawn from a variety of interdisciplinary sources.
Students are able to combine core studies in international business with another field of study by completing a specialisation. Specialisations include: Corporate Governance, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, International Business, Journalism and Media Studies, Marketing, Business Management, and International Relations.
Students are required to successfully complete 12 core units and four units from the selected specialisation:

Master of International Business (Specialisation) – specialisation units
Graduate studies have an important place in management development. They offer individuals aspiring to either general management or senior functional management roles, the opportunity to develop competencies relevant as a manager in the area of international business.
Successfully completed postgraduate units in other courses at the University of Tasmania or another approved tertiary institution may be credited towards the degree. Credit is also available for some qualifications attained through professional bodies, where these have been assessed as equivalent to postgraduate study. Please apply for credit at the time of application for admission.
