Entry Requirements: Entry to the Business Honours program is open to students who have completed the Bachelor of Business (or equivalent approved qualification) with an average of distinction or higher in at least 50% of the final year units of the pass degree.
Honours candidates in Management require an average of credit or higher for the 200 and 300 level units forming the relevant major(s) in their degree. They must also have passed the unit BMA205 Marketing Research or an acceptable equivalent unit.

Description

This on-campus honours degree course is offered in the School of Accounting and Corporate Governance, and the School of Management, incorporating Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, International Business, Tourism and Business Management.

On successful completion of the Honours program it is expected that you will:

  • have gained an in-depth and thorough understanding of the theoretical framework, key concepts and research underpinning the disciplinary area of particular interest to you
  • have developed your ability to analyse and critically appraise key concepts, arguments and research findings within the literature relevant to your disciplinary area
  • have developed your ability to undertake independent research, as well as the skills required to do this satisfactorily
  • be able to meaningfully analyse and discuss research findings and their implications
  • be suitably qualified to pursue higher degree work should you so desire
