Staff parking permits are available to current full-time, part-time and honorary University of Tasmania staff only. Staff parking permit prices for 2012 are:

The online parking system allows you to submit an application for your permit either by confirming your existing details or completing a new application for new staff, then process your payment via salary sacrifice or credit card online. If you select the salary sacrifice option, you will be directed to the UTAS Web Kiosk. Once logged on to the Web Kiosk, go to the deductions screen inside the payroll details folder. Refer to instructions on how to process your salary deduction or from the deductions screen.

If you select credit card payment you will be directed to the UTAS credit card payment screen, then just follow the prompts. If you wish to pay cash you can print out a payment slip to take to the cashier. For salary sacrifice and credit card payees, once your payment has been processed by the Pay Office/Finance, the Parking Office will be automatically notified and your permit will be issued and sent to you in the internal mail. Please allow 5 working days to receive your permit.

If you apply for a staff parking permit on or after the commencement of semester 2 then a reduced rate applies (see table above).

Renew your staff parking permit or apply for a new permit (2012 parking permits are available from 18 January 2012, but you may apply for a permit from 6 December 2011.)

• A permit can be issued to a casual staff member who works on a regular basis. To be eligible a casual staff member cannot be a student of the University.

• A replacement permit may be issued subject to satisfactory information regarding the loss or destruction of the permit being provided, and subject to payment of $10.00 to the University Cashier.
• Following payment to the cashier, please complete the Replacement Parking Permit application (43.4KB) form and return this form and receipt to the Parking Officer in Property Services on your campus.

• A partial reimbursement of $34 may be given should a permit holder leave the University before the end of Semester 1 in the year stated on the permit.
• No refunds will be given should the permit holder leave the University after the end of Semester 1.
• The reimbursement is applicable to STAFF Parking Permits ONLY.
• Please complete the Parking Permit Reimbursement (PDF 29.5KB) form and return this form together with your permit to the University Cashier on your campus.
