If you are a full-time, part-time or honorary staff member, you can apply for a staff parking permit using the online permit application system.

If you are a casual staff member, you are required to fill out a casual staff parking permit application form (PDF 83.3KB to be signed by your head of school/section.

Special information for Hobart CBD staff - permit application and payment process

Staff of the Medical Science Precinct, the Tasmanian College of the Arts Hunter Street, and the Conservatorium (Tasmanian College of the Arts) should read the CBD staff permit information page before applying for a staff permit.

How to apply for a parking permit using the online permit application system

This is a two-step process: step 1 = entering permit details onto parking system; step 2 = completing payment authority via the web kiosk or credit card screen.

1. Go to the online parking system and submit an application for your permit either by confirming your existing details or completing a new application.
2. Read the general conditions for staff parking permits.
3. Select a payment option (salary sacrifice or credit card).
4. If you select the salary sacrifice option, you will be directed to the UTAS Web Kiosk. Once logged on to the Web Kiosk, go to the deductions screen inside the payroll details folder as directed on the deductions screen.
5. If you select credit card payment, you will be directed to the UTAS credit card payment screen. Follow the prompts.
6. Once your payment has been processed by the Pay Office/Finance, Campus Services will be automatically notified and your permit will be issued and sent to you in the internal mail.
