The UniBar

A convenient venue for winding down during or after a hard day at uni! The bar facilities include, a pool table, an open fire and a covered beer garden that will certainly entice you to relax and unwind, The Uni Bar has a great selection of beer and cider on tap and for entertainment the Uni Bar regularly has live music and free poker events.

The Uni Bar can assist you with that function you need to organise whether it is a group of friends that just wants to get together or a special event such as an 18th or 21st or engagement party.

Degrees Restaurant

Degrees overlooks the Tamar River and is available for private bookings, 7 days a week.

Degrees can assist with dinners, lunches, breakfasts, cocktail parties or any type of private events for up to 80 persons.

Coffee Shop

The Coffee Shop is a thriving café situated in the heart of the TUU Building.  A meeting place for that morning coffee, cookie, slice or cake plus a range of light snacks, sandwiches, rolls and focaccias, with both indoor and outdoor seating and the smell of roasted coffee.

Saltz Café Restaurant

On site at Accommodation Services, Newnham, Saltz is located in the AMC Communal Centre. Saltz is open to students, staff and the public, with Accommodation Services residents being eligible for discounted meals and beverages.

Saltz offers high quality, low cost food. Open 7 days for breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout semester.

Saltz Restaurant is available for functions, receptions or social, group and club dinners.

Open:  Saltz is open: 7am – 7.30pm. Restaurant dining hours: Breakfast 7am – 9am, Lunch 11.30am -1.30pm, Dinner 5.30pm – 7.30pm. Hours may vary during semester break.

Uni Cafe

Serving a variety of salads, sandwiches, rolls, pidas, focaccias, sushi, hot snacks and great coffee from 8.30am.

The Uni Cafe now has the great value self serve pasta bar offering a variety of sauces with freshly cooked pasta from 11.00am.

The Uni Cafe also has a range of main courses changing daily. Service for this area starts at 11.30am.

The Uni Cafe is located in the centre of A block, the hub, the campus.
