Students in the Bachelor of Education are given a number of opportunities to apply and expand their learning outside of the University context. Students are invited to work with children and their teachers in trying out new ideas for use in the classroom
"[Interacting with children and teachers in the community] is an opportunity for students to generate their own knowledge and understanding. They can get some understanding within the University context, but it isn't until the practical application of that learning comes into play that students actually see what the real purpose of their learning is"
