The Centre for University Pathways and Partnerships (CUPP) mission is to create entry pathways to university study, increase participation in tertiary education and to foster sustainable partnerships that provide an enduring benefit to local communities and to the University of Tasmania.

PROJECTS
OLT - Maths Pathways - From VET to Higher Education
The Maths Pathways OLT funded project will provide the maths skills students need to move successfully from selected VET qualifications to particular University courses.
AMSPP - Evaluating and selecting STEM resources: capacity building for teachers in rural and regional schools
Provide a framework by which teachers can select maths and science teaching resources (human expertise, online or material) that are best suited to their needs and context. Raise the confidence and resilience of teachers in rural and regional schools in relation to maths/science knowledge and its application. Assist teachers to inspire rural and regional students and improve their achievements in maths/science and inclination to continue its study beyond.
HEPPP - Pathways to Success and a Place in Tasmania's Future Economy
To increase participation in higher education through initiatives and pathways which inform and build aspiration, provide smooth transitions and enable current and future students, families and communities to engage with career possibilities aligned with Tasmania's industries of the future: food, advanced manufacturing, tourism and health.
STAFF NEWS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Congratulations to Nicole Crawford, Paula Johnson and Florence Ko who are the recipients of Teaching Merit Certificates for 2014. The awards were given to Nicole, Paula and Florence for the outstanding academic contribution they have made and continue to make in the University Preparation Program and the Diploma of University Studies.
