Based at the Launceston campus, Merran is the Diploma of University Studies Student Coordinator for Launceston, providing support and academic guidance to Diploma students. Merran joined the pre-degree programs in 2013 after 10 years as the Executive Officer in the School of Human Life Sciences at UTas.
Merran teaches Experiencing Science (XAB080), Academic Numeracy for UPP and Diploma (Arts and Education) students (UPP085, XAB091 and XAB092).
Merran is interested in transition experience of students to University studies and the impact of support programs on success at University.
