UTAS Research Week 2012 featured the public session A Pocket Guide to Research in the Faculty of Arts, Launceston.
This talk, entitled Britain and the Age of Revolutions, summarises Dr Anthony Page’s research into the era of the Enlightenment as it was lived and focusses on the group known as the Rational Dissenters. His research covers the slave trade, humanitarianism, human rights and moral imperatives.
