UTAS Research Week 2012 featured the public session A Pocket Guide to Research in the Faculty of Arts, Launceston.
This talk, entitled The Operations of Risk and their Interface with Social Justice Issues, summarises Dr Sonya Stanford’s research that includes studies of how people with mental health problems and mental health practitioners experience and respond to issues of risk in mental health service delivery. Dr Stanford recently presented her research at a colloquium in Prato, Italy, which focused on responding to risk in the fields of child protection, criminal justice and mental health.
