The teaching computing facilities within the school consist of a computer laboratory available to chemistry students, which is serviced by a dedicated server. This laboratory is open during normal working hours.
A variety of general and academic software, including computer aided instruction programs, is available on these computers.
This laboratory is used for student work and undergraduate teaching and short course purposes. The school also contains a 28 processor parallel computing network which can be employed to perform system intensive tasks and calculations.
This resource is primarily for research and consultation purposes, but could also be utilised for teaching and training applications.
