Communication and Collegiality |

Your colleagues in the Quantitative Marine Science program are spread across numerous Schools, Institutes and locations. To facilitate collegiality and communication among Students and Academics involved in the program, we plan to bring you all together on a regular basis (~bi-monthly). Such gatherings are designed to encourage the sharing of ideas and quandaries, to celebrate achievements and build a wide network of intellectual and emotional support.
QMS Seminar Series
QMS runs an occasional seminar series with talks provided by students, academics, CMAR scientists and visiting researchers. Seminars are typically held in the main lecture theatre of the School of Geography and Environmental Studies. Notification of seminars will be provided by email as they arise. We welcome presentations from QMS PhD Candidates and if you would like to present a seminar as part of the occasional series please contact the Administrative Officer who will organise a time and venue.
If you are presenting a seminar on your research as part of another seminar series, please let the QMS Administrative Officer know so that she can inform other QMS PhD candidates who may like to come along.
