UTAS

The facilities of the University Library are available to all UTAS students once they have obtained a student card. Information about the University Library and individual branches can be obtained from the Library Home page http://www.utas.edu.au/library/.

The University Library runs numerous information and training sessions throughout the year. You should receive notification of upcoming information and training sessions and other library events via email.

The Science Library has numerous resources that may be of use to you at different stages throughout your candidature. We highly recommend you make an appointment to meet with the librarians at the Science Library and arrange a library tour and introduction to the resources that are available to you here at UTAS and through agreements with other science libraries in Tasmania. The Marine Science subject guide can be found here.

The Marine Science liaison librarian is Chris Evans (Christine.Evans@utas.edu.au) and the Antarctic and Southern Ocean Studies liaison librarian is Heather Mitchell (Heather.Mitchell@utas.edu.au)

 

CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research

As a QMS Candidate, once you have completed a CMAR induction you will have access to the resources and services at CMAR Hobart Library.
