Australian Antarctic Division

The University has a special agreement with the Antarctic Division for the use of the Division's Polar Library. The conditions of the Antarctic Division library guide and the Antarctic Division library access policy should be carefully adhered to - please note the requirement to make an appointment before visiting.

 

Bureau of Meteorology (National Meteorological Library)

The National Meteorological Library comprises collections in Head Office in Melbourne and smaller collections in each of the Regional Offices (in Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart and Melbourne), the Canberra Meteorological Office, the Townsville Meteorological Office and the Cape Grim Baseline Air Pollution Station.

Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic and Marine Living Resources

CCAMLR does not provide a public library service. The majority of the materials held by CCAMLR are available from their website http://www.ccamlr.org/. Some materials may be held in their archives. Post-graduate students are welcome to contact the CCAMLR Secretariat on a case-by-case basis to seek assistance or access to published material not available on the website.

Tasmanian Parliamentary Library

The Library subscribes to about 250 current serials and newspapers, and has a collection of approximately 4,000 monographs. The Library also holds a comprehensive collection of Australian State, Tasmanian and Commonwealth Parliamentary publications.

Holdings of the Parliamentary Library can be searched through TALIS
(Tasmanian Automated Library and Information System), available through the State Library of Tasmania web site http://www.statelibrary.tas.gov.au/ (follow the search our catalogue link on the right hand side of the screen).

State Library of Tasmania

The State Library of Tasmania is located at 91 Murray St Hobart.
