Course Fees

Paying fees and living expenses can be a juggling act, but there are a number of financial support options available from University College and the Commonwealth Government.

General cost of living

Accommodation can be a large cost for those students living away from home. Our range of Associate Degrees are offered via blended delivery mode, which means that you’re able to access much of your course material online, with face-to-face required in the form of a workshop or tutorial. These Associate Degrees also offer face-to-face on all three campuses in Tasmania through weekly tutorials. As such, many of these traditional living expenses incurred when moving to study are not encountered, as you are able to study from your current location in Tasmania.

If you ado need to live away from home to study, you should allow $6,500 to $13,000 per year for accommodation expenses. Of course, this is dependent on your personal circumstances.

Course costs

Depending on the course, an Australian Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) student can expect to pay between $6256 and $10,440 per full time year of study. The fee for each course may vary, with different courses attracting different costs.

Our University Preparation Program (UPP) does not attract any course costs, as these are covered under the Higher Education Contribution Scheme (HECS-HELP).
