Commercial Services and Development is responsible for the whole-of-lifecycle management of all centrally owned UTAS physical infrastructure and assets including:
Building works on UTAS campuses are managed in-house by project managers within Commercial Services and Development.
Some exciting projects that are currently underway include Medical Science 2 in the Hobart CBD (near completion), the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies on the Hobart waterfront, and the NRAS (National Rental Affordability Scheme) apartments in Hobart, Launceston and Burnie.
