Natural Resource Management (NRM) North and UTAS Sustainability are proud to announce the successful applicants for the 2011 Fellowships focusing on eco-efficiency.
The Fellowships have been funded by NRM North with direct support and project management provided by the UTAS Sustainability team.
The successful applicants are Kim Beasy, an Honours Student from the School of Geography and Environmental Studies, and Kim Anderson, a third year Bachelor of Applied Science student at the Australian Maritime College.
NRM North Chief Executive Officer, James McKee, said the project enabled UTAS students to develop innovative solutions to the growing issue of environmental footprints.
“It is great to see the quality of students that will be taking on this challenge. NRM North is looking forward to working with UTAS and these students to support movement towards a more sustainable campus.”
Corey Peterson, UTAS Sustainability Manager, said the partnership would bring multiple benefits.
