This research investigates the practices of business analysts in contemporary Australian organisations through the theoretical lenses of practice theory and boundary spanning theory, viewing the practice of business analysis as a boundary spanning practice the operates in organisational communities between the business and IT communities. Five publications have resulted from this research so far.
