Our group is interested in research into the deployment of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Systems and their use in business solutions. RFID tags are deployed as electronic barcodes that can be read once within range of an appropriate reader. Tags may return information beyond their identity, including such thing as a history of the temperatures they have experienced. Our interest is in investigating how the various components of RFID systems interact in order to investigate both possible security vulnerabilities in systems and also how RFID systems can be used to add value in business processes.
