The Tasmanian eHealth Collaborative Project was a private/public sector initiative formed in mid 2006 to explore cross-sector development of interoperability and clinical information sharing within the Tasmanian health care sector.
The initial objective to the Collaborative working group was to support the involvement of private hospitals and private health funded initiatives as part of the wider Tasmanian eHealth initiatives. Its aim was the development of health sector wide responses that enable participants public and private to receive similar benefits from eHealth initiatives.
