Copyright Discussion Forums 2008

During 2008 the Library will be continuing discussion forums regarding the University's copyright compliance and managment procedures and processes. It is envisaged that open fora will be held in April. The Copyright Officer will be contacting each School's Library Liaison Officer to set up the discussions throughout 2008.

DCMS Training

DCMS training for academic staff is conducted on request. Training can be organized for individuals or groups. To arrange some training in Masterfile contact the Copyright Officer on 2228.

Copyright Advice

If you have a copyright question that cannot be answered by the material on this website, please contact the Library on ext 2228. We can help with topics including but not restricted to:

  • What can I put into Readers?
  • What copyright material can I put in WebCT?.
  • Gaining permission to use other people's work.
  • Fair Dealing.
  • Copyright Compliance at the University.
  • All aspects of the Copyright Act.
  • Is what I want to do possible / How can I copy material legally?
  • Help in discovering or contacting a copyright owner.
