This unit aims to provide you with an introduction to TESOL concepts with an emphasis on key second language learning issues. As you complete the Unit, you will investigate:
- 1. The nature of language learning, styles of teaching and strategies for learning
- 2. theoretical underpinnings for language acquisition, learning and teaching
- 3. TESOL - locally, nationally and internationally
- 4. Culture and intercultural learning as part of the TESOL program
