This unit is being phased out, no new enrolments are being taken.
This unit acquaints students with fundamental theoretical and practical concepts and principles of histology and provides the foundation for Histopathology (CXA222). The practical component develops microscopy skills and techniques learned in first semester (in CXA101 and CXA171) to allow critical analysis of prepared tissue slides and thus define normal structure of tissues and organs.
