Professional Practices aims to facilitate students' creative capacity and skills development to enable them to produce professional art or design work through the development and realisation of one or more self-directed projects.
You will be able to specialise in one of the following areas: Drawing, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Time Based Media, Visual Communication and 3D Design.
In Professional Practices 1A & 1B you will begin by developing a proposal, work plan and journal to provide a starting point for your self-directed project. You will work from this to commence developing a body of art or design work based on your own line of speculative self-directed research and building on your contextual, theoretical and studio-based investigations undertaken over the course.
