Introduction
Admission & Prerequisites
The Faculty of Business may accept as a candidate for the Master of Business any of the following:
- A person who has completed an undergraduate degree of an Australian higher education institution or the equivalent standard in any other institution,
- A person who hascompleted the Graduate Certificate in Business, or the equivalent standard in any other institution.
For entry into all postgraduate courses, international students must provide an IELTS test score of at least Band 6 with a minimum of 6.0 on all bands or a TOEFL score of 575 with a Test of Written English score of no less than 4.5. This test must not be more than 24 months old.
Articulation to/from Course
Students may enter the program with advanced standing from the Graduate Certificate in Business or equivalent programs, depending upon an assessment of unit equivalence by the Course Coordinator. Those who terminate their studies after completing 50% of coursework units in the MBus may be eligible to exit with the Graduate Certificate in Business, provided that they do not already possess that qualification.
Miscellaneous Information
There is no single, relevant, professional body, although it is anticipated that this course will assist students in gaining membership in bodies such as the Australian Human Resources Institute and the Australian Marketing Institute, depending upon the units chosen.
