Industry Research Project JNB728

It is recommended that this unit is undertaken in the FINAL year of study.

Introduction

This unit is more suitable for students in final year of their master program. In this unit, students will apply relevant research methods and knowledge gained from other units to carry out an industry research project. Students will work independently under the guidance and supervision of research-active academic staff. The industry research project should be related to the field of maritime and logistics management. It is highly recommended that the project focuses on real-life, practical management issues especially at work. The knowledge and skills gained from the unit are expected to enable students to carry out rigorous and independent research to gain in-depth knowledge of the subject matter for their future career development.
