Music Technology 2B FCF202

Hobart

Introduction

The Music Technology major is devoted to developing the student's awareness of what is required for musical expression utilising music technology, as well as how and why this might be achieved, at a professional level. Using industry standard audio design tools, students will engage in problem-based learning requiring them to analyse, experiment with, reflect on revise and develop their craft and skill as music technologists. In this fourth unit students build upon the concepts, theories and practices relating to music technology established in earlier units. Students will develop projects that compliment the craft and skills developed and introduced in the prior semester, so as to allow deeper awareness and reliance of the developing integration of craft and musical taste.
