This unit focuses on the health information professional and the creation, use, management and destruction of health information. You will critically evaluate the theory, practice and processes used in health information management in Australia and internationally. Governance and standards applicable to the management of health information will be discussed and professional code of ethics examined. You will have opportunities to hear from experts across Australia and participate in industry case studies.
