Students enrolled at the Launceston or Cradle Coast Campuses will need to listen to the audio lectures (delivered in Hobart) via MyLO prior to a weekly workshop held by video link.
This unit provides economics and business students with basic quantitative techniques that help them analyse Economics problems . To some extent many of the mathematical tools covered will already be familiar to students from TCE Mathematics Applied. Since students will bring different mathematics backgrounds to the unit, there will be a thorough revision of basic concepts and tools as the unit progresses.
