Dissertation ESG706
Introduction
ESG706 is a major piece of independent research work, suitable for candidates seeking further entry to Higher Degree Research (such as Ed.D. or PhD). Candidates are required to work with a supervisor to plan and implement a research study or theoretical enquiry and write a 12,000 to 15,000 word dissertation. High level academic skills are required. The topic may be closely related to the student`s professional practice. If the planned research calls for methods that require Ethics Approval (for example, interviews, focus groups, involvement with children, etc), candidates are strongly encouraged to enrol in ESG704 followed by ESG705 instead.

Learning Outcomes
