Students are expected to have prepared their parts thoroughly prior to the first scheduled rehearsal.
Students should take careful note of rehearsal/concert times and not involve themselves in outside activities during these periods.
Students enrolling in this unit attend a two-week Summer Orchestral Institute program and participate in a variety of activities designed to provide intensive pre-professional training in orchestral practice. This unit builds on the skills acquired in AISOI Orchestral Training 2, and the program consists of intensive cycles of advanced orchestral rehearsals, workshops, masterclasses, individual practice time and concert presentations.
