Courses & Units

Printmaking 2A FSR211

Students will be introduced to more complex printmaking techniques, building on the print processes covered in Printmaking 1.  You will develop individual projects that explore the meaning and potential of the print medium.  You will be introduced to a range of research strategies formed around testing of materials and processes, setting aims, reflection and intuition.Project work is supported by demonstrations, workshops, one-on-one and group critiques. Journal work is central to project development and you are required to keep a record of your ideas, insights, concepts, methods and learning processes and contextualize these through study of works of other artists and innovative examples of practice.
