Introduction

This unit aims to improve your skills, knowledge and understanding of computers, as applied in a learning environment, with an introduction to specific software programs used to enable online and distance learning in later units. Modules will include an introduction to MyLO, and word processing, finding resources on the internet and an introduction to reflective practice. Students who have successfully completed the Understanding Dementia MOOC may be eligible for credit towards some of the assessment requirements in this unit based on demonstration of equivalent learning.
