Honours Project B KGA462
Introduction
This unit provides opportunities for students enrolled in an Honours program in the School of Geography, Planning and Spatial Sciences to undertake a series of activities related to (but not replicating) their dissertation topic, with such activities being negotiated and documented with the staff member/s concerned and approved by the Honours Co-ordinator.

- Design and implement a research project or task relevant to a specific sub-discipline that addresses a broad aim and specific objectives.
- Adapt research methodologies based on information gained from relevant literature and/or consultation with experts.

- Apply task-specific skills aligned with the context of previous work and/or industry standards, specifications or foci
- Document and communicate the research outcomes utilising task-specific conventions

Unit may be taken concurrently with KGA461; or any of the honours thesis units KGA436, KGA437 and/or KGA438.Teaching
Teaching Pattern | This unit features self-directed and supervisor-directed learning. Students must attend at least one 30-minute candidate-supervisor meeting per fortnight, and weekly GPSS and/or Honours seminars across the semester. |
