Hobart, Launceston, Cradle Coast
The student contribution amount for this unit is fully subsidised and therefore not payable by the student.
This unit aims to prepare you for success at university by further developing the academic writing skills that you have learnt so far in UPP units. This includes dissecting, analysing and synthesising information, including complex arguments; reconstructing information to form new meanings; planning and constructing logical and connected prose; and writing using standard academic conventions. Students will have the skills to analyse and reflect on their own work and continue to develop expertise in writing as they progress further with their studies.
