Product Design ZAD210
Hobart, Launceston
Introduction
In this unit, you will investigate the design process as applied to the development of physical and digital products. You will also investigate how these products are developed using methodologies such as Sprint, Lean and ‘hackathons.’ You will learn how to select and apply the most appropriate tools and methods to prototype digital (such as applications and programs) and physical products to maximise their user appeal, functionality and usability. In addition, you will be introduced to the processes involved in getting a product to market, including product development, capital raising, marketing and promotion activities.
