Dairy research at Cradle Coast emphasises feed production with respect to pastures, crops, animal production and the factors affecting milk production and management of the Dairy environment, including fertiliser use, nutrient budgeting and water quality.

A significant aspect of this work is the 20.12 project which represents the largest research and development project yet undertaken for the Tasmanian Dairy industry.
