North-West Advisory Board
The North-West Advisory Board was established in 1996 to provide
advice to the University about the higher education needs of the
north-west community. The terms of reference for the Board are:
To provide advice to the Vice-Chancellor about the provision
of higher education programs in the North-West of Tasmania.
To provide advice to the University in the development of its
North-West Strategic Plan with regard to the development of
long term strategies for raising the higher education participation
rate in the region.

To facilitate input and support for the University's courses
and other activities in the region from the North-West community,
including business, industry and local government groups.
