Library services

An open and friendly place to study, relax or work with friends.
Discover a treasure trove of knowledge and information at your fingertips through the new Library Learning Hub at UTAS Cradle Coast.  Library resources are available to UTAS students and staff at Cradle Coast through UTAS Library on-line information services 24 hours a day using your student or staff Access Card.

Check out your e-Library Account, order materials online through the Library Website, access electronic databases, e-journals, e-reserve items and more.  Over 50 workstations, in the Learning Hub and Computer Lab, give you direct access. Our wireless network also enables you to use these services via your personal laptop computer.

Other resources include DVD players and CD burners, a photocopier, and printer. A selection of national newspapers and magazines is also available.

Where are all the Books?
Required texts and readings for units offered through the campus are held in the Reserve Collection. These are available for use in the learning hub which can be accessed 24 hours a day.

UTAS Flexible Library Services means that you can order many more books and journal articles from UTAS libraries at Hobart and Launceston for delivery to the campus, or even direct to your home. You can search all UTAS collections, and those of many other affiliated libraries and universities, via the online Library Catalogue.

Library books can be returned by placing them in the Book Drop at Cradle Coast Campus or at the TAFE College in Devonport. The TAFE Library also offers some borrowing privileges to university students.

Not sure where to start?
