Students study in a range of research and higher degree programs at the Cradle Coast campus. With students coming from both our undergraduate programs as well as the professional workforce in the region, the number is expected to steadily grow in the coming years.
Some of the present students are undertaking PhDs in Agricultural Science alongside researchers based at the North-West node at the Tasmanian Institute of Agricultural Research - which is on our campus. Other research higher degree students have negotiated research topics across a wide spectrum of disciplines, including education, history, sociology, information systems, zoology, computing, regional development and psychology.
Current postgraduate students
A Cradle Coast campus Graduate Research Student Induction Kit helps students settle into Campus life.
The Cradle Coast campus is the base for a number of postgraduate supervisors. Students can also choose to base themselves at the Cradle Coast campus even when fellow researchers and supervisors are based in Hobart or Launceston. Technology makes it easy to communicate with research colleagues - through email, telephone, videoconference and other web enabled communication technologies.
