AF Toby Huddlestone

Toby Huddlestone will be talking about his current artistic practice, which incorporates artistic production through action, documentation, curating, writing & discussing. He will also discuss his increasing use of performance when choosing to deconstruct what constitutes artistic practice, which includes all aspects of 'being' an artist, not just making artworks. Huddlestone is a practicing contemporary artist currently based in London who also works on curatorial projects. Recent projects & exhibitions include solo shows I'm so Bored of Viewing... at The Engine Room, Wellington (2010), New Zealand, R O O M, London (2010). He is currently curator at Crate Studio & Project Space where he is curating a twelve-month programme Exhibition as Medium, which focuses on alternate models of exhibition format.

As well as having undertaken residency & commission projects at Contemporary Art Society during Istanbul Biennial (2009), Outpost as part of Contemporary Art Norwich (2009) & group exhibitions We Are Grammar, curated by Paul O'Neill & Dave Beech at Pratt Manhattan Gallery, New York (2011), DEADPAN at The Royal Standard, Liverpool (2010).
