Tristan Stowards works across visual art and performance, whose practice originates in the everyday, prompted by a pressing need to be solved. Stowards proposes solutions for a sustainable future, for telecommunications, transport, shelter and puppets, among other things. A recovering actor, Stowards sees the body as a tool for mark-making in space and time.

Sarah Jones is an artist, writer and curator. Through first person narrative, both written and performed, Sarah is interested in the desire for the dissolution of the perceived self in the spaces between the landscape and the body.

Sarah and Tristan are current TCotA Hunter St Artists in Residence.

In their Art Forum presentations they will share insights into the diverse drivers, methodologies and modes of experience within their individual practice.
