Tim Steiner is turning 40 this year. He's also been the canvas and temporary frame for Wim Delvoye's tattoo 'TIM' for 10 years now. DADA is turning 100 and Punk 40 years as well. To celebrate Tim is back at MONA where if all goes well he'll be sitting on a plinth for a year. It's been four months. All good so far. He is here to share his story. A story about art and life and war and toilet cleaning and an array of various other tales. This is not the artist speaking. It's the artwork.

Tim calls himself a jack of all trades and a master of none. In 2006 the Belgian conceptual artist Wim Delvoye had Tim's back tattooed and then sold it to a collector in Germany in 2008. When he passes away, the piece will be removed, framed and handed to the owner. Tim has been exhibited all over the world including the Louvre in Paris, and spent four months (500 hours) on a plinth at MONA in 2012. He fell in love with the place and is back for one year.

Please note the extended presentation time of 1 hour and 10 mins.
