Trygve Luktvasslimo

Trygve Luktvasslimo is an International Artist in Residence at the Tasmanian College of the Arts.

Trygve holds an MFA in Visual Art from Malmö Art Academy, Sweden (2006), and exhibits and performs internationally in galleries, museums, festivals and clubs. His work examines seduction, worship and redemption in music and in visual and verbal narratives. Through a diverse practice he locates spiritual projects outside of the religious field, and he looks at how these faith-based concepts influence the construction of characters and stories.

In 2013 Trygve published the poetry book Primitive rim (Primitive Rhyme). He manages public art projects for Public Art Norway, and is engaged by the Arts Council Norway (board member, Fund for Sound and Image) and North Norwegian Artists Association (chairman).

Trygve lives and works in Portugal and Norway.

In his Art Forum presentation Trygve will share his practice and sources of inspiration.
