Tasmania has
two very different native species of Trachymene. T. composita
(formerly known as T.
anisocarpa)is a large erect heathland herb with
pinnately lobed leaves. T. humilis is an montane grassland
herb
with small, shallowly lobed leaves in a basal rosette.
