Tasmania has
two native species of Millotia (M. tenuifolia and
M. muelleri). Both are small, erect herbs of dry places. M.
tenuifolia is distinctly white hairy, M. muelleri less
so. As the flower matures, the corolla and the pappus are raised
above the level of the phyllaries.
