Allittia cardiocarpa (formerly known as Brachyscome cardiocarpa; Asteraceae) 2:296
Allittia cardiocarpa (Swamp Daisy) is a common native herb of swampy places. The habit is quite distinctive - the leaves are long (5-30 cm), narrow (1-3mm wide), almost cylindrical, erect and all basal - so that the vegetative part of the plant is a little like a soft grass tussock (or clump of chives). The flowers are on erect stalks (scapes) longer than the leaves.
