Calendula arvesnis (Wild Marigold) is a widespread
and moderately common weed of waste ground and some agricultural
areas. Like its relative, C.
officinalis, It is a much branched herb, often about 20cm
tall. It has small yellow-yellow orange flower heads and sessile,
lightly hairy leaves. However, wild marigold has much smaller flower
heads than C. officinalis.
