lanceolata (formerly known as M. scapigera; Native Dandelion or
narrow-leaved dandelion) is a rare native species of dry woodlands
resembles dandelions (Taraxacum),
but the leaves are narrower and the flowers and seeds are not beaked
(i.e. they do not have a long narrow section between the body of the
ovary and the pappus).
