Leucophyta (formerly known as part of Calocephalus; Asteraceae) 2:345  

Leucophyta brownii (described as Calocephalus brownii in the Students Flora) is a common coastal shrub in northern Tasmania and the Bass Strait islands. It tends to be low growing, often forming mounds. The white foliage and spherical heads of heads make it distinctive.
